Oops! We're Sorry!

In case you wonder why i'm cliche-ly apologizing, it's because i'm aware of the obvious haste with which my last post was published. I'm aware it was full of typos, looks stupid, and is missing some important information. But it's because i typed it at Kitt's house while we were having another party, this one being after a 20 minute long pep band performance at a scrimage. Anyway, I was correct to say that i intend to write more soon, but i left out a lot of details you may or may not want to know.

For example, within Red Colony, i intend to have some wordy descriptions about some cool technology that will premiere in the very near future. I assure you that if you find sci-fi tech cool, these will be the posts for you.

Also, in the real world, I could mention it's almost Thanksgiving Break (yeah, so it's only a four day weekend; it's still something.) and that i'm looking forward to the snow that may fall really soon. Also, pep band is going to be for real soon, and the other bands i'm in are readying for performances. Interestingly enough, the jazz band i'm in not through school just played at the Festival of Trees, the local event. We sounded pretty good.

Also, as an attachment, i read a story in the paper yesterday. Guess what it was about. Imagine this: it was about the controversy of sending astronauts to Mars without the intention of bringing them home. The associated press actually seemed to favor that plan, though the government begs to differ. Maybe they need a special corperation to secretly send them up! But what if they felt betrayed and declared independance? Hm. Maybe the government is watching out internet lives.

Anyway, I think i got everything I need to say out there on the internet. I hope our freedom of speech encouraging government doesn't find my knowledge of their Mars plagiarism offensive/reason to make me invisible. So, i guess with that feeling of dread (which i hope rubbed off on you), i'll leave you all hopeing that you'll hear from me again.

Life as We Know It...

...Is soon to return to normal. Finally, the musical is over. Thank goodness.

So, yeah, as soon as i finish chatching up to the weeks of schoolwork i missed (Mr. Conklin literally made fun of me in class for it), i will continue writing. I basically have made no progress in writing. But, hopefully, once i catch up in a chapter and a half of physics and finish an awesome book on storm chasing i'm borrowing, i'll have enough time to type and publish the chapter i'[m sitting on and finish the one i'm working on. Anyway, just wanted to keep you up to date since i have a computer handy. Good reading!

Techie Trouble

So, first the good news. I did get chapter seven uploaded and it's pretty awesome, though i believe it's terrifyingly short. But chapter eight is a little better, and i just have to finish typing, so be on the lookout.

But that leads to the bad news. Don't strain yourself while looking because it probably won't be for a while. As you know, my drama involvement is extreme. But you might not know that last week was supposed to be tech week, and this week and extenstion of that, and also dress rehearsals. This, as shown by the yellow paint constantly on myself and my clothes, is not the case. Yesterday, we were on the stage for about four and a half hours, not counting clean up time. We finished a lot, but we're not really close to done. With everyone's (including the cast, yay) help on Friday, we basically cleaned the whole stage. I had them move everyone move everything small enough to be moved off stage and into the shop, and everything too big was moved behind the backstage curtain. Even the giant flat was moved into the stage right wing and covered by the sidestage curtains. The only thing left out was a rolling platform/box. It was amazingly clean.

As i'm sure you guessed by now, i got almost no writing done. I have been constantly busy and any free time is being diverted to the homework i haven't really been doing. Between pit orchestra, jazz band, and stage crew, i've been at school about 14 straight hours a day, sometimes more. And, scholastic just started, too.

So now, all we have left to build is the remainder of the pyramid and the wall on the platform/box. Also, we'll have to paint a ton of stuff at the last possible minute, but that'll be easy.

So, after sunday, expect some more author related stuff, and slightly less drama-induced-stress/panic. Kay? Thanks. Bye!
